Absolutely beautifully cooked lunch steak with a salad I actually wanted to eat. Super fast and friendly service. Unfortunately the layout and dining spaces are in close proximity to the public bar, but really that’s just nit picking. Best I’ve had in Bowen so far!

We dined on Sunday evening 22nd. Pub was clean and tidy and reasonably busy. Food was perfect, but our waitress needs a special mention. I couldn't quite read her name tag as it was smudged, but it definitely started with an M. I watched this young lady work the till, the bar and the floor. I watched her clear tables, deliver meals, serve drinks and manage miscommunication between patrons and the kitchen. She did it all with a smile and kindness. This young lady is an asset to your business.

My wife and I were looking for somewhere to have tea on a Sunday night. We saw the Central Hotel was open. Went in to see the menu and the girl behind the bar could not do enough for us. We had a lovely meal desert and drinks. Sorry we are heading off tomorrow. Next we are in town I know where we will be eating. 👍

Brilliant pub. Food excellent , and great value . Discount for seniors also generous. Staff absolutely terrific. Special mention to Narelle, very pleasant and efficient . Loved the huge toilet sign as some pubs you just can’t find them !

We were very happy with our meals and impressed how quickly they were brought out!! Personalised customer service was delivered with wait staff being very tentative and friendly! Makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable night out with the family 🌟👍👍👍

Staff were so helpful and attentive, especially Mon. Even charged a dying phone. Food was beautifully cooked, ample portions. Husband loved his steak, chicken moist and tender. Busy but couldn’t fault service. Prompt delivery of meals. Loved the senior discount. Would definitely return, maybe lunch next time. Highly recommend.

I had a dirty bird parmy and it was so yummy and a massive meal. The waitress who I can't remember her name was fabulous.
